Welcome To Tallaght Stadium
The stadium is owned and operated by South Dublin County Council, and is best known for being home to Ireland’s most successful football club Shamrock Rovers. A new stand has just been opened in the stadium which adds to not just the atmosphere inside but also the capacity. Located close to the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, Tallaght Stadium is also the home grounds of the Football Association of Irelands women’s national team. A multipurpose venue the stadium has played host to a variety of other sports including rugby, American football, hurling and Gaelic football.
Tallaght Stadium is a UEFA Category 4 venue, a standard that puts it alongside some of the world’s most elite stadia. Aside from sport, the stadium offers conference facilities for anywhere between 5-300 delegates and a concert facility for up to 20,000 patrons. In house, the stadium is fully equipped with state of the art AV equipment, and is available to book for both corporate and private events. Access to venue is excellent with both the LUAS and bus services less than a 5 minute walk away.
